Background:  Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity lost its Charter in Denton. The organization had become famous for the Fry Street Fair in Denton, which has attended by 10,000 people every year, but which had never made more then $8,000 in profit in addition to raising $10,000 for local charities.

Accomplishment: Played a key role in organizing the alumni of the former fraternity into a not-for-profit corporation. Later selected to hold the organization's chief executive office. Worked with City Council and local business owners to secure zoning changes and expand the Fry Street Fair to accommodate 5,000 more attendees. Engaged in heavy marketing including radio, print ads, and billboards. Hired national acts and raised ticket prices. Doubled annual donations to charity and added a scholarship program, while increasing the organization's assets from $10,000 to $360,000.
