Background: Sales were falling and costs needed to be reduced. The decision was made to identify opportunities to reach new sub-markets, increase prospecting efforts into new and existing markets, and convert a number of sales positions into a lead generation team, thus broadening canvassing efforts while reducing salaries and commissions.
